Winter Prep, Nutrition, Improved Beehives, Sugarcane & Glass Kiln

I like how the Iron Teeth faction uses berries to grow new beavers, but I feel like there's a lot of other ways to use berries so long as they have the right ways to store them (maybe glass jars made from sand, found along the riverbank, in a mud kiln?)
If winter/seasons are ever implemented phase then it might be a great idea to use berries & honey (which could be harvested from beehives to make jam that can be stored alongside veggies in jars during the winter & which could provide sugars that increase body fat more than other foods. Beehives could also be a source of wax (which could be used to waterproof objects)
Lastly, if the devs add other decorative/farmable crops & vegetation to irrigated areas, reeds/sugarcane could be added that (using advanced timbertech) could be used to pipe water around or be refined to make sugar used in baked goods like glazed doughnuts & other sweets (that are within reason) which increase body fat significantly at the cost of nutrition.
