The water pumps are 3 to 1 with the irrigation towers can you please include an upgrade for the water pumps as im having to put down 10's of water pumps

UIan Mergedit takes six pumps working flat out for 11 hours a day just to keep up with 1 tower. I turned on 3 towers during the end of a drought to save my crops, and it burned through nearly 800 stored water in less than 1.5 days.

Thaina YuI think the point is irrigation tower require hugh rebalanced. It should require less water. Also it should only irrigate tile that really need water and calculate the number of block it really irrigating to decrease water (visually make it partly green (like the border between grass and dry soil) for the whole area) so it actually will not consume water until we add a farm tile

Ncc1702A power dependant pump should be the next tier and it also should not require a worker. Maybe it could use 150 hp and an addional 50hp per block down if the "straw" is deeper than two.
It could 2x or 5x as efficient and have a bigger foot print say 3x2 instead of the current "2x2" -

Vicky LangstrumpfIt should be possible to increase the range in the depth of the pump. I would also love an upgrade to run it with electricity.

David C Bollingeryes please! I have a very large colony with several irrigation things. I don't mind as much about the rate of drain from the irrigation, it makes sense to me that that would take a lot of water, but even just my beavers with all the irrigation off takes a lot of pumps. I had a thought for an alternative to the pumps, I'll post it as it's own suggestion, to have a gravity fed water source. Make it, like, 3x3 and 5 tall, and you can build dams/levees on top. For it to work, you need to get water directly on the middle square of the top, but then it would give very fast water production without a worker. 4m of head pressure would do the work much better than a beaver powered pump, even if they are as strong as 50 horses, and it would just flow right through to be picked up by haulers.

Mat SteeleA larger water pump would be amazing to keep up with irrigation towers. Whether it require multiple workers or large amount of power
