BrycedTeaI have also accidentally built a building facing the wrong way and it's really wasteful to delete it just to rotate it 180 degrees so that it can be used.

Toaster13ath Mergedvery hard to expand borders, builders huts etc dont expand, just increase responce time, nor can you move the district hub, i would like to see that changed
-

Jason BergmanHuge issue with this, especially when you don't rotate the building correctly to the path and you have to destroy your building and loose your resources.

Jess MergedI have only just started playing this game, however when playing a lot of these types of games there is normally an option to edit a building after being built for example just the option to rotate it down the line if orientation isnt quite right after youve added more buildings over time it would be a great addition.

Kyle GHEven if it cost a few extra logs and planks, being able to move a building instead of losing all resources would be worth it rather than paying full cost again. Maybe a movement cost that increases by distance moved.

AndrewI would at least like to be able to rotate the building before it is finished.
This would save me destroying it when I realise I missed the path.
Getting the resources back if it is not finished would also resolve the issue as that simply wastes time for my mistake and is no where near as costly. -

Heiriel MergedInstead of requiring deleting and then re-adding a district, allow functionality to replace a district (in doing so, keeping all beavers, deleting the old district center, and building the new one in one fell swoop)

Meijigo Mergedeverytime you make a mistake while placing a building, you have to destroy it afterwards without getting the resources back - can't it be rotatable after already being placed?

Tim MergedMabey make it so that you can, on easier difficulties, relocate buildings that have been built in the wrong place. This would then allow people to save resources and commit to bigger projects faster.
Failing that, replace the delete building option with a reclaim building option to allow players to reclaim some of the resources you have used to build it in the first place. So you dont lose out on quite so much. -

Courteney MergedI think adding the ability to move buildings instead of always having to demolish and re-build- save time and resources.

Kerstin Mergedwhen I need to remove a building I need to destroy it and then I have to built it again. So I will loose for example the wood that I used the first time. It would be great if I there will the option remove a building to a different place

AllexyGalaxyI don't mind it too much that the resources are gone when demolishing a building to start from new. But I'd definitely appreciate the option to move my District Centers since that one can't be replaced without starting a new District!

Butter LordRoll the buildings on top of logs, We had to move a sauna once and used like 8 sections of PVC to roll it across the street. Seems like a perfect beaver solution

Tom KyddBeing able to relocate buildings just makes sense in any game where improvements in efficiency are made over time. We shouldn't be punished for wanting to rearrange our colonies.
-

Gin Fuyou AdminPersonally I'm strongly against this idea. It doesn't make sense to me and it breaks immersion for me. Just add deconstruction.

Chosig MergedInstead of deleting them and building somewhere else, an option to move them to wherever instead.
Add time to dismount it and then the time to rebuild it at the new position. -

Dennis Piermattei MergedCan you consider adding the ability to move a building/structure instead of totally destroying it and building another as it would save resources and improve the quality of the layout of the structures.

LeRoy Byrd MergedI noticed while playing that, once an item was placed, it could not be moved. It's a real bummer if you faced something in the wrong direction. I'm not suggesting free movement, but perhaps at a cost, like a down time or straight cost to do it. It also could allow the use of existing items rather than destruction and rebuilding of those items you want in a different location.

Kendra MergedI am unable to move buildings or anything built around after its done being built. I don't think that is helpful in the future of the game. I don't want to waste resources just to move my stuff around and organize.

Mark TaylorAs for moving the District Hub - I do it all the time. Its easy as pie. Just build a new one where you want, but delete any path directly in front of the door. Pause the game, delete the original, and put in the path. Done. It costs NOTHING to do this, and is instant. Make sure you build the new one first, though, because the Beavers get automatically reassigned to the next nearest DC the moment you delete the old one (I had to go looking for my Beavers once!)

Hex DarkwoodI was really hoping this would have been a true sandbox type in at least easy mode. But as it stands, not being able to move buildings once placed definitely puts me off to playing as much. I was really hoping to have more design freedom and not so much strategy. If you could include at least this as a feature for say gameplay that users can choose to turn on or off, I think that would be fantastic.

neeedlesIt would be nice to be able to replace a double platform with two single platforms without destroying the tower of buildings on top of it

When we misplaced the building or placed to the wrong direction, we need to rotate/move option.
Another issue; when we cancel the unfinished building added parts need to be recovered. -

AlexanderSuggestion: solid building can be replaced with platforms and vice versa. Without destroying everything that is built on top.
For example: I have built high platform(s), placed something on top. To reuse intermediate layers I have to destroy everything on top, build everything from scratch with one modification. Instead of just providing a few missing supports.
Also: deleting building (it is placed wrong, it is not needed here anymore) replaces it with platforms to support buildings on top.
Saves a lot of resources.
Will really help to the kind of playstyle: building chaotic multiple level city, it is fun and relaxing.
Opposed to: plan ahead, know all positions, build perfect town. Takes a lot of time and not fun clicking. -

Mario MergedNot necessarily buildings. But it would be nice to at least be able to change the location of, for example, the platforms. Sometimes it gets sightly annoying, in my opinion. I any case, great game! Thanks!

gtmonicaI agree with others that I have accidentally built buildings in wrong direction. I would like to be able to freely turn it. If I needed to completely scrap it, I would like to be able to recoup a percentage of the materials used to make it versus essentially scrapping all of it. You could maybe even introduce a new building to recycle materials.

EzraThe Haulers could move buildings. One Hauler per square would be needed to turn the building 90 degrees at the cost of hunger.
