Suddenly all beavers stranded - have to reload

Was going to delete something but shift-clicked slightly off the menu and that closed the selection menu of what I was trying to delete. All 27 beavers are now 'stranded' despite nothing being deleted, thankfully autosave wasn't too far behind.

It's possible that something was deleted causing the stranding — if it happens again please send a screenshot.

the district center gets deleted and everyone gets stranded.

it was sudden for me too

what to do when this has happened.
Autosave was on so cant reload.
