Warehouse item list UI Improvements
When viewing the warehouse list, I would like:
--- A Deselect all button
--- Select all button
When looking at the list, the checked boxes and x'ed boxes are visually too similar.
(note colorblindness consideration)
--- A blue checked box for items turned on,
--- Empty yellow box for items turned off (maybe grey out the whole line of text too?)
Other helpful buttons:
---Select all food button
---Select all wood (planks, gears, paper, explosives)
---Select all metal (scrap, blocks).
PS
I don't know if you're considering adding other alternate storage buildings (food storage, wood item storage, metal items storage) but that might be something to do, because as a player I often want to separate my materials based on those groups. I do that because I often separate my district into areas based on those items being produced. The UI improvements would help me do that and prevent the beavers from carrying wood items across the city the moment I build a new warehouse.
Thanks!

FarAndAwayFuturesI want to clarify... I see now that there is a "select all/deselect all" set of buttons, but part of the reason I missed them is because I was looking for them above the list instead of below. Moving it up to the top might make it more intuitive.

Bright'Shadow Merged1 of the biggest issue that I have been finding with the storage structures, be they small or large, is that if you are not on top of their construction, beavers will start storing berries and other materials in them. Even when instructed to remove the unwanted items, they are much slower at emptying a storage structure then they are at filling in.
What I propose is:
1) being able to assign desired storage purpose before construction is finished.
2) offer a quick select option that selects all food, building materials, or components that can be stored in the structure. (This option could appear alongside the already existing Available and Desired tabs at the bottom of the structure's inventory page.)
3) Still have the fine tuning option available. If you want your warehouse to only store Grilled potatoes, or nothing but gears and planks, so be it. -

EphoraI second Mathew's idea cause this is driving me nuts. The beavers are waaaay too good at storing carrots lol.
Being able to set the warehouse settings before it's built would be a huge help! -

FarAndAwayFuturesAfter expanding my production I've also found myself wishing there was a way to increase the rate at which I can change a desired quantity of resource in a storehouse.
Example: Shift + click on the plus or minus buttons to increase at a rate of 50 per click instead of a rate of 10.
Thanks again! -

TimAgreed with Mathew, being able to configure during construction what a warehouse will store after it's ready will make it easier to avoid unnecessary hauling.
Additionally, besides setting a desired amount, there should also be a maximum amount, similar to how the distribution post has lower and higher limits. This allows better control over how much is stored and where. The lower will means haulers will balance the storage between warehouses, the higher will avoid other resources that share the storage from getting pushed out. It'd allow the use of a single warehouse for a temporary outpost to store a few planks, explosives and gears along with the food supply for the outpost, instead of needing to build 2 warehouses. -

AtlasSecond on Mathew's idea also! I keep running into the same problem of having a new warehouse finish building while I'm tending to something else and it is immediately stuffed with everything when I was intending it to be dedicated for something specific. A default to accepting no items first, or a way to set it before it is built would be a great qol adjustment.

Paul TraverseI would like to see checked items in the warehouse sorted to the top of the list in the warehouse UI.
