make factions more unique
I have recently played both of the current factions to the point of maxing out both of their tech trees. I was left wanting with the iron teeth faction. when compared to the fare folk faction they are missing a lot of mechanics while also not gaining much for themselves. for being an industrialized race they are really lacking in a tech tree, aside from the engine.
I would like to see the iron teeth get some new structures to better fit their industrialized theme. maybe a skyscraper that doubles as housing and storage, or a pump to move water from the river source upward. Id like them to have a more late game focused faction that needs to be worked toward.
either way absolutely loving the game and cannot wait for more content

Arkomaybe Iron teeth should go further and drop traditional farming to go for hydroponic f.e. (would be fitty with their breeding method).

Firehawk242 MergedSo it's great that we have more than one faction, but unfortunately, once you get past the early game setup, about the only notable difference is the way they generate power. Other than that, they're rather same-y. When playing Iron Teeth, I don't really feel like I'm playing a different faction, I just feel like I've swapped out a handful of details that don't really matter that much. Yes, they're a bit harder to get off the ground initially, but that's not really what the description promised.
The Iron Teeth definitely need more to set them apart, as will any future faction added to the game, because right now there's really no payoff for playing them. -

Mateo MergedYou are already doing an amazing job on the overall aesthetics of the game. The buildings are incredible and each faction has their own unique look and feel. However, playing the two available factions feels pretty similar. The main difference is breeding and some unique buildings but that doesn’t really change how I play the game. Most of the unique buildings have a high science cost and they only make a difference in the late game. Early and mid game are similar enough that there is little motivation to play the same map with different factions. I would like for each faction to play differently. Each one with their strengths that you can lean into and weaknesses to adapt to.
For Example: Folktail should be really good at farming and processing food. Their satisfaction stats should be easier to increase and maintain. But they can struggle to create enough consistent power and can't take full advantage of metal. -
