Edge pan doesn't work properly for multi-monitors setup (lock for dual display)
A minor inconvenience, but still important for a game like this where edge pan is how most people will navigate the map.
As a multi monitor user, edge pan does not work for the side where my 2nd monitor is positioned.
Example: Monitor A (primary) is on the right, and monitor B is on the left (secondary)
Game runs full screen on Monitor A, and edge pan works for up/down/right.
Edge pan does not work on left, the cursor simply moves over to the 2nd monitor.

Skizzle MergedI've been trying TImberborn, and I have a dual monitor setup, I am used to RTS style edge scrolling, butthe edge scrolling does not work properly, as it function in all 3 other directions except for the one which is adjacent to my other monitor.
How to reproduce:
- Have a dual monitor set-up.
- Have the game open on one screen in full screen mode.
- Have a web browser open on the other screen.
- While playing the game, move the cursor to the edge of the screen adjacent to the opposite monitor
What happens:
the cursor moves to the other windows
What should happen:
the cursor stays in the game window and the camera pans in the direction of the edge the cursor is on -

But only if edge panning is active! I do have the exact same setup as you, but I don't like edge panning and I need the mouse to leave the game screen. -

IsaacI agree! I have sunk a considerable amount of time into Timberborn, and this is my only complaint so far! I have thoroughly enjoyed gameplay so far!

MerlinverI like that it works this way - when I move my mouse to the other monitor to look at a web page, the map doesn't scroll all the way to the edge of the map. If it did, you'd have to drag the whole map back to where you wanted to be. Or I guess get in the habit of using the default camera angle keybind.

Martititi MergedFor people with more than one screen, the mouse can "escape" the window to the second screen.
--> This is especially useful if you activate scrolling by touching the sides of the screen.
An example of such an option can be found in Civilization V. -

OFrabjousDayAlso, with multiple displays, when on the second display, the edge scrolling is still active on the top and bottom of the display. So if I switch to monitor #2 and the mouse goes top or bottom edge, the game starts scrolling up or down.

Cody F. MergedCurrently when playing and using edge scrolling with multiple monitors edge scrolling works, but only if the mouse cursor is held in precisely the right spot on the edge of the game screen. Once the cursor passes onto the next monitor the game stops scrolling, edge scrolling is my go to in these types of games, but having more than one monitor makes this a pain to utilize how I'd like to.
I've seen this solved two ways, one where the cursor is locked onto the game screen when the game is in the foreground (not as desirable as a user) and another where when the cursor leaves the game screen the game remembers it's last position and just does a continuous scroll in that direction until the cursor returns to the game screen.
That would be my suggestion; to have it when the cursor leaves the game screen the game remembers it's last position and just does a continuous scroll in that direction until the cursor returns to the game screen. -
