Rice paddies, fishing and other water based food sources
water is a great mechanic in this game, but i would absolutely love to see fishing, rice paddies, aquaponics as another use for it, just because it makes a city in the middle of the lake a truly viable and interesting playstyle to try out :)

Mark TaylorI like fishing, and thought of it myself. However, I also decided it might be able to be lumped-in with a whole 'water escapades' expansion that featured trading and trade-routes. Thus, along with docks, boats, caravans, etc., we'd have fishing piers as well. And if we could grow rice, at least I'd have the perfect crop to plant in my fields that get flooded all the time.
