Larger Platforms (2x2, 2x3 and 3x3)

It would be great to have the ability to build larger platforms in size to build (which then obvioulsy cost more and have to be researched).
Further these larger platforms could then be built over other non-solid structures such as e.g. the large warehouse which has a 3x3 dimension. I do understand why a 1x1 cannot be build upon these buildings, but if there existed a larger platform that spans the same area than the building below, and it has at least one level clearence, why not be able to build upon it? Would be great to see this ingame.

I think devs want to make some limitation to how things can be stacked, so I'm not sure they'll go with more platforms that can go over other buildings, but for pure visual 2x2 or even 2x1 platforms would be great

Zam! I find a palisade of supports not very appealing. Partially I solve it building bridges, but they have own limitations and are expensive

yeah, the absolute sheer number of supports makes it hard to see what's going on in highly built up areas when i need to make changes. i support larger platforms with less supports for certain.

metal platforms can already do the whole 'build over non solid structures', granted that's super limited with folktails and is expensive as heck...

But I do think it would look better to have larger platforms because when dragging you create platform support posts for each block, whereas with larger platforms those supports would only be present at the four outermost blocks. And this in turn might allow building platforms over other buildings, since the intermediate supports are then gone and would not go through the other building then.
