Toggle Different Views to show various ranges (overlays, building coverage)
So if you want to plant trees, you need it to be within a forester's range. You can see this range if you have the forester selected, but when you're actually placing where the trees should be planted, you can't see it. It'd be very helpful if there were 2 options. 1) When placing trees (or other similar structure-dependent items), the game automatically has all the forester's ranges highlighted. That way, you don't have to switch between placing and having the forester selection when placing trees. 2) It'd also be nice if you there was something in the bottom right that would allow you to toggle between the different views. So the Forester view, the Farming view, etc. Maybe even a "drought" view to allow you to see where the standing water will be as well as the range of the irrigated soil. These views could be helpful for various situations. Like you don't want a farm area to overlap a forester area. Or you want a path to skirt the edge of a farm's extent.

Zam! MergedPretty self explanatory. Except the cutting range itself, please also display which areas have been marked for cutting when selecting a lumberjack post.

Gin Fuyou AdminMerged with cutting overlay suggestion, I think they address same issue of overlays not always showing when needed.

Whit MergedEspecially when building on the fringes of my district, I'll often place some buildings (e.g. platforms and gates) that are just outside of the building range of my district. Or I'll plant some trees outside the planting range of my forester, or I'll plant some vegetables just outside the range of either my farmers or my irrigation tank.
Ideally, I'd like to see that when I'm placing any of the child resources (vegetables, trees, buildings in general), the appropriate parent resource shows its range again (just as it would if I selected it) until I deselect the item I'm intending to build. -

Panacea MergedEvery building with a coverage should have this option so that one can see the border while placing related buildings that depend on that coverage.

Eric MergedI can click on a Farmhouse and see the range of it in blue. However, If I try to add crops, the blue overlay disappears and I have to click back and forth between the farmhouse and crops to get every area covered. Let me keep that overlay up while I plant crops or tree for a forester to know where I'm going. Sorry if this is already uploaded. I didn't see it
