Migrate youngest adults first or select beavers and golems
Currently the game seems to migrate the oldest adults first. With an already established district containing several 70+ beavers, this can result in beavers migrating and then promptly dying of old age the following day.
Maybe it's random and I just got lucky? But I doubt it as three migration attempts of two beavers each attempt resulted in 6 total 78-79 year old beavers being migrated. One pair did manage to have a very lonely child before they passed though!

MalcolmReynolds14 MergedI swear every time i start a new colony the new colony is sent the oldest beavers possible and then die the same day or the next from when they are sent. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but it feels odd that you would send the old beaver about to die to pioneer a new land

McsneezyThis is a major annoyance. My new district is constantly being emptied out because they all die of old age right away.

LordRedStoneYes, focus on the young, and also homeless/jobless beavers first.
Technically the colony will balance itself out, as jobless beavers left behind will take the jobs / lodges of the ones migrating. But it would be cool for flavor. -

RyvreUnemployed beavers are migrated first so if you have enough jobs for everyone who isn't migrating you can pick who migrates that way.

Edlar89 MergedIt appears that the game will always pick the oldest beavers when you migrate to a different district. They therefore don't live for very long which can be annoying if you're trying to set up a new district. I would suggest that either the youngest are selected, or the age is random.

Alain MergedIt always seems to me that the migration tool always sends some of the oldest members of the community, which means that I somtimes do multiple migrations in quick succession because the new migrants quickly die of old age before having children. It could be great to have a tool to decide whether to migrate the a) oldest adults b) youngest adults or c) randomly selected adults, so that it covers different situations.

IbmonksterI don't understand why this is under consideration, seems like a pretty crucial bug to not fix. obviously anyone leaving the capital is going to have a shorter lifespan. losing statues food or for other reasons. Then think about this logically shall we. The senior citizens would probably be considering retirement not going off for adventure to start a new city. However youth tends to be more adventurous... I've sent over 20 beavers, 4 at a time, to start a new city just watching them all die of old age. Or are we supposed to start cities with children unable to work? I mean I guess we can if we stock up and send them resources leaving them completely unproductive till the kids mature but how unrealistic a city of only kids /sigh

Сергей Силин MergedWhen beavers are redistributed to other districts, by default, the oldest living in the donor district will be sent to the receiving district. And in almost a day or two they will die there. Thus, you need to send new ones, which will again be the oldest. P.S. Translated through Yandex translator.

SaraI think it'd be nice to be able to specifically choose which beavers to migrate, period. My first game on easy mode has a "leisure" district entirely run by robots. None of the beavers there have jobs, they just have all the well-being stuff. Would be awesome to choose all the oldest beavers, and beaver children, and send them there as a retirement community/beaver daycare. Or, sort the population list by well-being, and send the least happy beavers on a vacation.
