Large log storage w/ solid roof to build on

Large in-ground storage I can get around due to the sheer capacity to footprint ratio, however the 180 log storage requiring the same 3x3 seems like early game issues yet they really become issues all throughout the game. Just a simple log storage that holds more, more expensive to build (even very expensive for the challenge) and capable of building on the roof. An interesting approach to the design is have it a 4x4 footprint yet leave one corner out for stairs, decorations, etc. As for capacity 720 seems like a the golden number.

the second beaver faction has stackable log yards, i doubt they're going to add that to folktails

I agree that they shouldn't add a solid log storage to folktails, but maybe remove the ground requirement? I don't mind my log piles being open, but in a big colony ground space is at a premium, and I'd like to be able to store my logs on the roof, or on piers over the water. At least let us build them on solid levees, if it's a structural strength thing.

The biggest drawback for the folktails is the log storage, not even the variable power suppies of water wheels and wind mills are as frustrating.

I would absolutely love it if they removed the Ground-Only requirement for the log pile. I would love it even more if--with both factions being unlocked--I could use science points to buy Iron Teeth tech, such as the stackable log pile. Having a compact place to store logs, and the ability to store a lot of them, is really important for late-game and open-ended gameplay.
