a smaller 2x3 structure perhaps that beavers can go to and interact with to gain a small amount of FUN?
examples of recreational activities involving logs: log bowling, log balancing, log carving, etc?

Agreed. For their price - in very limited metal, no less - the number of beavers able to use it is too low. The relation just doesn't work out well, I think. Unless, of course, there's a way to make metal unlimited, probably with lots of research.

Maybe a beaver soccer field? Could use wood and lumber for building the seating, a few units of metal for the goals.

I feel like the carousel uses too much power. It should use less than a factory, not more
