More uses for power in the late game/metal buildings

Adding things such as mechanical pumps and tree cutters or a metal version of buildings that run way faster but take a lot of power to run.
I found making complicated waterflow and artificial lakes to be really fun in the late game but had no use for all of the power i was making.
