Differentiate religion and faction unique temples
Right now we have two factions that have the exact same temple and that's it. I suggest that this should be different for each faction to highlight their specific aesthetic and traits.
For Folktails I would suggest adding 3 priests/shamans/monks that need to be employed in the temple (no partial employment) and base the amount of happiness provided by the temple on food (or raw produce) offerings, as this is a faction oriented on food production and peaceful farming.
For Iron Teeth I would add a requirement to provide mechanical power to the temple and only require one "Tech priest" or "Mechamonk" to operate the temple of the machine god. Instead of food offerings the happiness level would depend on the amount of power provided for the temple with steps of 250/500/1000 hp for maximum effect.
Finally, for early game I suggest adding small shrines for each faction. Fot Folktails a small offering shrine, for Iron Teeth a mechanical symbol of faith (draws 50hp). Both limited by range.

Zam!Adding some context:
This suggestion is based on what each faction offers as their unique mechanic/building.
Folktails being focused on efficient food production need to double down on it and produce even more to satisfy their spiritual needs. This way that efficiency can be put to work by making late game mechanics rely on well executed early game.
Same applies to Iron Teeth that are industrial and focused on efficiency. Their engines will work as long as they have fuel, so making use of it in religion that is practiced when all workers are using their free time makes perfect sense. Stack up fuel so your power grid works when you're all in the temple, make your power system efficient. -

Zam!Finally, some extra thoughts :
This change would make temples a truly end game buildings, so for aesthetic reasons, the beavers working in those buildings could have their model changed to resemble the beavers illustrating their factions in the menu screen. This would make a clear visual connection between their in-game models and general visual design of the faction. -

Tikki MergedIt's weird that the Iron Teeth and Folktails have identical temples. It doesn't have to be actually different in function, just have a unique model. The flavour text could even be the same.
Or the factions could worship different deities. Maybe Iron Teeth do ancestral worship and build temples or shrines in honour of Ol' Kazko. Nature can still be the default spiritual deity for future factions.
Either way, it'd be nice if the temples looked different beyond the colours. -

AfterCrow MergedThey can use the same base model to save polygons, but switch out the centerpiece (currently a dead tree) for each faction. Irontooth could be iron/scrap centerpiece.

Tommy WestbrookAgree on at least adding a different centerpiece for the Ironteeth. Since their description is that they go for industry over nature having a tree doesn't quite mesh, but a big gear would.

Jamie CI want the option to remove any religious things from the game. Maybe change them to sports type things.
The noise from one of the buildings reminds me of those old religious horror movies.
A small basketball court would be nice.
