Mechanical Water Pump fill sensor
It looks like the older Water Dump had a sensor built in to not over-fill a reservoir. Can that be implemented with the Mechanical Water Pump too?
I've been pumping uphill to a canal system with small lakes but it over-fills the whole thing and floods if I don't have a floodgate at the other end that lets off pressure. In some cases there isn't a practical place to build a floodgate to let the water out at the other end.

ShadiI like it. There should be an option in the form of a tick box.

MarmeleiroThis is seems to have been corrected, but i would like to add to this suggestion, the same trigger for power consumption, or simply make then stop working when flooded. Massive reservoirs with cascading pumps that sometimes get flooded still drain a lot of power from the grid.
