Suggestion - paths get "worn in" and become more prominent as more beavers use them
At the moment it seems odd that all structures require beavers to make them, but paths appear fully formed at the click of a mouse.
I propose that instead, the path starts off as just markers along the edge of the ground tile, and as more and more beavers use the path it becomes more "worn in", going through phases of having a small track down the middle, which widens and becomes lighter until the path reaches the look of the current paths.
This means your town will grow and change as it gets used more, makes the placing of paths make a little more sense, and gives some info about paths which are well/poorly utilised
I am a very poor artist but here's an idea:

Gin Fuyou AdminHm, but will they decay as well if not used often? Given how much time you can spend in one game, even path for 1 beaver will get eventually worn in otherwise.

RadCatI think it's fine for a path to end up worn in after lots of time even if only one beaver is using it, a testament to how long the path has been there?
But perhaps the mechanic could be how many beavers/day use the path, rather than just the number of beavers? So a path with <5 beavers per day would stay thin, but a path with >50 beavers per day would be fully worn in? -

Gin Fuyou AdminI guess that an option too. Not sure if it makes notable load on system if you have hundreds of beavers, but idea itself is fine I think. But I also would like to pave my roads if I want it to stay pretty e.g. between districts
