I love the new views, they are really helpful! I miss a quick glance at the numbers, sometimes. Would it be possible to have the best of both worlds?

Not a bad idea! Redundancy and multiple ways to view data are (IMO) always good to have!

After playing 20+ hours of 1c1929c, I'm convinced it would be massively helpful to have counts available for the different positions. Currently, I have to open the job menu and count them up by hand. I tend to manage my busy beavers pretty carefully, only using job prioritization on buildings like haulers and distributors. Sometimes I wonder why I don't have any workers available, and it would be great to see that I have 7 working lumberjack flags at a glance.

In addition (this is possibly a second feature request), it would be *massively useful* to know how many beavers are actually working at a given post. My builder's hall might be set to 4 workers, but if only 1 is working there I'd like to know that from the job menu. At present, it isn't possible to know which jobs are filled or how many work in a building - you only know if the building is paused or not, and the requested worker count.

I have the same request, although I'd phrase it a little differently. Keep the button on the top ribbon that gives the new display, but keep what's down below the old one.

A second recommendation: Use words, not pictographs (aka hieroglyphics). The pictographs are too small and too crowded to tell at a glance what they are (especially since several look very similar.) An information screen which is hard to read and/or decipher.... ISN'T an information screen.
