Stump-clearing bug

There is a bug that allows clearing of old stumps without beavers digging them up. Mark the stump resource for demolition, then build a path over it, then demolish the path: stump gone.

you can skip the whole part where you mark them for demolition and just pave over them with roads or buildings. demolishing them is only for aesthetics.

But this is inconsistant. Any other building requires the stump to be cleared first, so paths can be used as the quick-demolition tool…

incorrect. other buildings don't require stumps to be cleared, unless the stump still has an inventory-in which case a path can't be placed either.
if you have proof that you can't place a building without clearing the area first, then drop that here and i'll mark it as a bug and not done.
