Allow mirror and/or doorway variation for every building
Drawing path on random generated terrain with a building that have specific waypoint can become totally mess. In many situation is called for building to reflect itself on its axis
Please allow building to mirror like a lodge. And instead of mirror lodge, please add command to allow mirror on every building. Or we might have many version variation that we could toggle between by some hotkey (like a rotation by r). Such as a triple lodge might have 3 version, with left/right/center door
Suspension bridge might allow left/right path in addition to center. And carousel might have 3 way it could place a doorway on left/right/front. This could make us easier plan the village layout and make simpler logistic

James YangSmaller buildings better have only one doorway, but with the freedom to choose which tile the doorway is connected to. Larger buildings and/or buildings with no visible separation (e.g. shrine) can have multiple doorways, as well as taller buildings (e.g. triple lodge - doorways on different height levels).

KrufarIn addition, it's pretty strange that the lodge and mirrored lodge have a different line in the sumup of how many housing is available. I'd really think they could just be merged.

SimonQuite keen on this feature request; restraints aren't inherently bad but not being able to mirror the building at least feels like quite an artificial one. And it is always a bit frustrating when a mirrored version would fit perfectly but the one offered makes everything look a mess.

EdesRozsaflipping with F would be fantastic, and not just on lodges. The one I found myself wanting it the most was actually the large water tank, though farmhouses were also high on my list.
Also agree that making lodge and mirrored lodge one choice, with the addition of a "flip building" hotkey, would be ideal. -

Revengeance MergedIt would be handy to make buildings and doorways separate objects, so that buildings can be used in new configurations (e.g. ground floor entrance to double lodge; large warehouse with second-floor entrance) and certain objects (e.g. mirror lodge) could be removed entirely.

NetherdanAnother issue are the double/triple lodges having only the option to have the doorway on the second floor. In addition to choosing the horizontal position of the entrance, we could be able to choose its vertical position as well

Mark MergedRather than having a mirrored house option, which is a bit meh, how about when you press rotate it swaps to mirrored version on press 1 then rotates to normal version on press 2 then press 3 mirrored on that angle the press again rotates to normal. so 8 presses will rotate 360 degrees and present both mirrored and normal :)

JbuttYes! None of the buildings have text on them, so a simple mirror building modifier key or something for placement wouldn't require any special asset work. Workers and Resources recently added a whole slew of mirrored buildings and it made such a massive difference, so good.

Craig MergedIt would be awesome to allow you to specify where in the building is the entrance (or create multiple entrances into buildings for that matter) E.G. With the Wood Storage allowing a user to click the path into 1 of it's squares would create a path entrance there to the Wood Storage. Also, if you have 4 path squares adjacent to each other (2x2) it really should fill in middle.

DelugeI wish there was a down-vote option on this site.
I feel that making buildings too adjustable and easily place-able would take away from the clunky Roller Coaster Tycoon feel that the game currently has. Just because other games like City Skylines are soft with bendable roads and hand-hold-y soft building placement, does not mean that every game should adhere to this development of game design. Please allow us to get frustrated that the building is turned the wrong way around and figure out a solution on our own, even if it takes hours! -
