Please add High Priority and One-Off (one-time) deliveries from the Distribution Center.
While the route system works for regularly scheduled deliveries, sometimes you only need a certain number of resources once (and no more); for example, a delivery of 100 explosives is needed to dig a channel, but that's it; no need for more until later so delivering a second batch of 100 is unnecessary.
So the idea is that you can make a 'one off' delivery - this assigns a route and after that amount of resources has been delivered, the route deletes itself as complete.
Also, I think it would be nice if we could add priority to deliveries - yes, we do want gears to go to district 4, but they need food more. That way, the delivery beavers only move to a lower-priority delivery once the higher priority deliveries have been satisfied.
Combined, the two systems will also allow for things like an emergency supply of food to a starving district - high priority one-off deliveries.

David Underwood MergedThis is a constructive criticism, the moving goods between districts is just bad. The Distribution center can be good to have a constant flow of items, and sometimes it does work but especially the more districts you have it get more and more complicated. While I think I understand how the limits work they are confusing and it is not the best system.
My idea of an improvement is to have constant delivers and one time delivers. Constant delivers are like the current distribution centers with a better interface. One time delivers call "orders" where for example District 1 sends District 2 1000 logs in total and order is done it goes to next order or just continues with constant delivers, Orders should take precedent and possibly freezing constant delivers until finished. When you click on a district it tells you at the top screen what that particular district has, I would make it where your orders can't be more that that district currently has to prevent locking out delivers. -

ShinonAs an addition to the above: When materials are needed to complete a building, clicking the type of material needed could provide a dropdown for which District to demand from for a one-time delivery of the specific number necessary for that building. Quick and easy way to setup a handful of buildings at a new district you aren't necessarily looking to turn into a full city.

- being able to choose whether you'd like a continued distribution to another center or a single delivery (of a certain amount of resources)
- individual delivery-limits: let's say you want to continuously supply 100 logs to district 2, but at the same time continuously supply district 3 with 200 logs - I'd love to be able to individually set those limits depending on the center (respectively district) I deliver the resources too -

Sylvia MergedI think that giving us the option to create "orders" at the distribution post would be a great feature. Instead of simply having the beavers transport items for an indefinite period of time, we could tell them to take X numbers of items to a drop-off point, or just until the drop-off point has X number and then stop.

Connor MergedIt would be great to assign a one time delivery to a different district. Say I am building something, and need exactly 10 planks. I would love to be able to send exactly 10 planks one time instead of a perpetual trade route that I have to babysit and make sure to cancel. Calling it a delivery mission instead of route would differentiate the two types of distribution.

JohnyDLHow about an advanced delivery/requests system?
I'd really like it if the delivery system could be automated cost 1 science per day per delivery post then it'll automatically fill minimum stock levels without having explicit trade routes, and it'll try to request extras to meet the building needs of the district.
Say a district under construction 50% of the building resources + minimum stock level are requested to that district
Or a district that hasn't got enough water to make it through a drought will request water to keep the beavers from dying.
Perhaps unemployed beavers will volunteer into districts with low or no workforce in the same way. -

BrianI like the one time order idea. As it fulfils it, if you look at the screen, it either decrements the amount delivered if a single counter is used, or have a nnn/mmm if two counters are used.
Also, if you allow the reordering of routes in the list(maybe one list each for cyclical deliveries and one-off deliveries) so that the the order of priority are the items at the top of the list. Or perhaps a radio button(or checkbox) instead that prioritizes a particular delivery over the others. -

Yasmin FodyWhen I add over 5 routes to a distribution post often times I am not getting the materials I desire most. Even though I have 8 beavers working constantly my beavers will start to go thirsty because they aren't being supplied with enough water, while at the same time being supplied with waaaay too many planks. I would deeply love a way to prioritize certain resources and also a way to set resource limits so your district warehouse and drop off centre dosent overflow with a resource that you dont really need all that much

Check MergedWould it be possible to have an option in the distribution post to send "X" amount of material once? Like if i want to build a large water tank in my new district I could send just the right amount of gears without having to setup a route, fix the limits and delete the route once I have enough to finish my tank? I always end up with spare parts that i don't use and I don't want to build a distribution post from my new district to send them back. Not quite sure how feasible that would be.

Quite often I need just few items to build a single building in a district. Right now I need to setup limits, setup route, and wait with construction until items are delivered.
Alternatively, I can change limits and send excess items back when bulding is ready.
I would love to see an option to sent a speciffic number of items to another district, without creating a permanent route -

Kalvin MergedHey devs, really enjoying the game but I have a few suggestions that I believe will make the gameplay even more enjoyable:
1) Allow one-time delivery of a certain number of goods to another district; sometimes I just need a single gear in another district to finish a building, but I always end up sending way too many, it'd be nice to have a way to send only a certain amount of goods instead of keep on sending goods if it exceeds a certain amount.
2) Allowing the storage of multiple types of goods at large warehouses, maybe 4 types of goods, 300 each, instead of 1200 of the same thing?
3) Have a simpler way of deleting roads, the current setup of deleting them block by block is quite annoying
