IDea: raven's of winds

Beavers wouldn't be the only survivors of mans fall, birds like ravens would as well. They are smart and industrial in their own right, though where the beavers focused on preparing the Ravens' focused on scavenging and trade.


Raven's would be a none placer species, spawning in ruins near river beds, their trade posts are high up, and built out of wood and shiny metals. Generally a trade post holds 1 family which is 2 adult ravens and 2 eggs or hatch-lings which do not leave the nest until they grow up.

These birds have two functions, one they will scavenge on and off map for materials if you are willing to trade food and water, and two if you build high enough you might even get some of your own. Ravens are extremely good haulers, food gathers, and metal scavengers. though this comes at a cost, they can not cut wood.

They would have unique trade posts and housing you can build to attract them.
