Nocturnal Faction - working buff at night and a geothermal power source?

It definitely still needs to be hashed out more but it would be cool to see a faction that gets a buff for working into the night and sleeps in the mornings instead. I know the darkness could be a nuisance but it could be cool if they have a unique food source and maybe geothermal power generation?

These are both good Ideas and I really like the geothermal power idea, though it would be hard to make a theme that differentiates them from the Iron Teeth at that point.

I like the idea of a nocturnal faction as well there is definitely plenty of things you can do with this kind of a faction beyond just giving them a buff for night time activities, I think. Also geothermal power generation is a great opportunity as well.

They could use water and beaver power. Maybe an energy source centered around the moon? They could use special crystals (found when digging up dirt with a 30% chance or so) to transform moonlight into a sort of dust, which they use for energy and maybe other stuff. With a fuller/less full moon the production could be higher/lower. For food and light they could use special plants e.g. mushrooms and night flowers. Lightly glowing flowers look amazing? The buildings would be inspired by the moon, there saviour that saved them from the Angry Sun, and the beautiful night. They could prefer lower buildings with blinds to keep the daylight out. Maybe little buildings looking like white spheres and stars, but shimmer in the moonlight? Through the white the buildings would be cooler, too. Maybe the beavers try to mirror the stars in the sky?

I love the idea of a nocturnal faction. There is nothing to do at night! Having the opposite problem would be a nice change of play.

Special night/dark themed crops. Maybe some kind of cave theme where certain buildings need to be dug into the earth. They could also be mystic/fantasy based. Worship the moon.

Their bots would get buffs from creating potions. They would do all kinds of brewing. There is so much potential with the new badwater and extract.
