Explosives Disappearing When Using Distribution Posts

I have tried sending explosives from two different districts to a third, and they keep vanishing from the global inventory.

P.S. I have now tried shipping from another district and the explosives just continue to vanish. All I need are two to blow up some land to allow my levee to function. Alas, this bug will cause a flood.... Furthermore, I have to transport a large quantity of treated planks and metal blocks to another district, and fear they will disappear, as well.

I had a similar issue and then I noticed, that the items were added to the inventory of the outgoing distribution post. This made the items vanish from the global inventory.
Can't remember if this happend with explosives or with gears.

At first, I thought it was what TTJ said--that they were "vanishing" into the distribution post's inventory, but alas this was not the case. I also thought perhaps the beavers transporting them died of exhaustion, but all the other goods in transit arrived.

@Gin Fuyou This was many saves ago, so I will have to try it again to see if the problem still persists. If so, I will use the link. Thanks.

I've had this issue as well. An amazing game overall but I can't build my perfect dam without removing some terrain....absolutely devastating with the amount of time I've spent on this save.
I can see that the explosives are moved into the stock of my distribution post, but they disappear from the global count and don't get moved out of the distribution post unless I remove the route. When I remove the route, the explosives just return to my storage and there seems to be no other way to send them to my reservoir district.

February 2023 - still an issue.

This seems to be quite random, though. Just yesterday I was playing the Fokltails and I could easily distribute explosives to all my districts. Today I've started a new Ironteeth game and my explosive were disappearing as soon as they went into the Distribution Post.

I've just noticed that my metal blocks are also kind of disappearing. I would have 20 in my district inventory, but after transferring them I am only left with 5.

To add to my previous comment: it seems that my explosives DID finally arrive at their destination. It took 2 in-game cycles, but they just...appeared.

if goods are being carried by a beaver they are not counted in inventory of any kind other than beaver inventory.
distro post internal inventory also doesn't count in global because it's considered in transit
