BUG - Daytime Drought Frame Rate

After going through a few days on the Plains map, and experiencing 2 droughts, every drought afterwards drops my frame rate significantly during the day cycle. At night, all animations and beavers display smoothly and correctly, it's just during the day cycle that everything drops and slows down.
