lumberjack saying cant find trees to cut down right when there is a forest next to them

Can't tell without details, but I presume you either forgot to mark trees for cutting, or blocked the access to them.

had the same problem and now after that I read this thred its clear I forgot to mark trees for cutting. This button I think needs to be in wood tab not an separate tab.
