Crashing non stop on Windows 11 Dev

It's at the point where sometimes I can't even load the game at all - crashes at the first welcome screen sometimes. Other times I can get 5 mins into gameplay before it dies.
The other weird thing that started happening at the same time is that scrolling around the map gets locked on, and needs to get unlocked by pressing the same direction key again.

I've emailed logs and gamesaves to the suggested email address.
Tried the following:
* complete reinstall of the game
* brand new game/map start
* multiple existing gamesaves
* disabling all windows processes except those required (inc AV)

Is there anything else I can try?
