Performance Problems, FPS dops

Hi, I have been playing Timberborn for some time and I love the game. Unfortunately I have a problem with the performance since the last patch. At the beginning everything was fine but now after about 3-4 hours of playing the FPS are plummeting.

I have tried to localise the problem. It seems that the graphics card does not recognise that load is needed. Sometimes the card (RTX 3070) switches to P-State 5 which results in a drop to 2-3 FPS.

No overclocking was done on the card or other components of the PC. All parts are configured appropriately and in other games the card uses P-State 0 for full load. So I assume that it is the game itself that is not addressing the graphics card correctly.

My Setup:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
32 GB RAM on 3200MHz
RTX 3070
Game is installed an M.2 SSD

I’m hitting the same – population of around 400 across three districts.

Frame rate is crazy low, and interface is lacking to the point where it is largely unusable. CPU and GPU show barely any load (potentially CPU bound if everything is single-threaded I guess?).

Same issue here, when playing in a large map with 153 beavers the game plays fine when they are asleep, but when they start waking up and moving around the frame rate drops to unplayable , looking at the resources being used on the computer the GPU RAM and CPU are barely being utilised , super confused!
