District Crossing issue when districts are far away
This is the best city builder I have ever played. Well done!
I love the look of the district crossing and the footprint.
The new distribution menu looks good, but I'm not convinced I'm setting it properly. I knew how to get the old one to work, and once it was set, I could completely forget about it.
Due to hardware limitations, I prefer building three small districts, about 100 beavers each, spread far apart. With solid distribution networks, full warehouses of everything, everywhere had always been a near certainty.
It took eight distribution posts, four drop off points, and strategically placed hauling posts. Hauling posts kept the distribution posts supplied and the drop off points emptied. Done well, distribution haulers had one job to do.
Would it be possible to keep the district crossing look, but go back to district gates, distribution posts, and drop off points while you test the menu?
Look at that lonely highway! Going to miss that look.

Gin Fuyou AdminI don't think so, but perhaps other transport means might be added.

CraigAgree. The new setup seems straight forward but doesn't seem to work. I have three districts with a lot of goods between. Right now I'm trying to get dirt from one district to another (connected to each other directly) with thousands of empty storage in the district I want to receive the dirt. The district with the dirt has 83,000 dirt and the district I want to receive it has 0. Again, districts are connected directly with a crossing that is fully staffed on both sides. The district I want to receive dirt is set to import always. Still nothing. The new version might be good in a lot of ways but is far too animated for detailed gaming. The old system worked perfectly to ensure that each district was getting exactly what it needed with minimal beavers needed. I'm not sure what anyone felt it needed to be changed and this change is definitely a step backwards when wanting to minimize the amount of beavers needed to move a few items. Needs more user control of the work.
