Fluid dumps irrigation range changed and shrinked - please read release notes!
the fluid dumps went from having their normal nice radius (i don't remember what it was) shrink to like. one or two units. it's affected every single save i have. please this is nearly game breaking.
moderator note:
natural irrigation has been modified to require a minimum surface area for maximum (old) irrigation range. widen the area around your water dump and things will return to normal.

Trevor MergedWhen I detonate a hole in the ground and used a water dump to fill it, it only irrigated the surrounding 3 tiles, but before the update it went much further. I don't know if this is new balance or a bug.

Drummin MergedBut there is not a replacement to irrigate land away from rivers that now kill crops and trees. Sure once you can get explosives you can make canals. But I have not survived that long. Crops dye and by the time they can be planted again bad water comes kills them again before they can produce food.

Gin Fuyou Admin MergedDump with levees reservoir still work. It just that 1x1 water tile barely irrigate anything. There more adjacent water tiles there are - the wider is the range. You need 3x3 pond for max reach.

Trapping water from river with levee sleeve and floodgate also works. -

jcaI have read the release notes on the water dump problem , it makes no sense and doesn"t resolve the issue. If you can"t irrigate the land to plant the game is dead.

dump still works just with bigger reservoirs. Fundamentally nothing changed, if anything irrigation channels approach that suffered, dump hardly
