terrain block water dynamic
I built a large water reservoir to hold large amount of water with terrain blocks. The water dynamic seems counter intuitive to me. I thought terrain blocks will allow water to pass through to the ground near it, at least where water line is above or adjacent to the land. That is not the case. Area around the large reservoir gets no water benefit. However, if I replace some of the terrain blocks with wood blocks. Water will seep through. That to me is counter intuitive. Terrain block being made of dirt should act like dirt, and wood block should block water more.

Ah, sure I see it's confusing. Point here is that irrigation accounts for soil height changes, so river can't irrigate top of the mountain - range drops with every height change. So it's intended behaviour, just not sensible in this case. I'm not sure if it will be changed, but it might, but for now "not a bug" -
