UI disappears on Steamdeck

UI frequently vanishes when playing on Steamdeck. Seems to have multiple repro methods, but the one I am sure of is when adjusting floodgate heights. To fix, I have to hit the menu/hamburger button several times. It happens quite regularly during normal gameplay.

Have you tried different proton versions?
Linux is not officially supported, and I'm not sure devs have a SteamDeck to test
