Suggestion: Terrain resource, mines and advanced transport systems
First of all, thank you for an amazing game – Timberborn is one of my favorite city builders. The way beavers move, build, store resources and reshape land feels unique and full of personality. I hope you continue expanding these mechanics even further.
One thing I’ve noticed is that dirt and terrain feel like a finite resource, which can limit creativity in late game builds. My suggestion is to add an infinite mine or excavation building where we can choose what to extract — dirt, stone, or minerals. This would allow more ambitious and long-term projects to thrive, especially in sandbox mode.
I’d also love to see more transport mechanics: ropeways, pulleys, cranes, and vertical lifts that move materials between layers or districts. This would add new logistical depth and open creative building possibilities.
Finally, adding new late-game systems like solar energy or advanced terraforming tools would perfectly complement the engineering fantasy that makes Timberborn so special.

ITALOThank you. Since there’s no explanation in the game, I always tried to manage excavation carefully to keep the landscape looking good, so I never let the excavator dig all the way down. Thanks for the clarification.
