Was new Races still being Considered? small beavers?

I remember in early beta days you guys were brainstorming races. Are there still going to be new ones in future updates?

I love the idea of another animal race like otter or meer cats or something similar. But it would really throw off the chopping wood down. maybe a mini water buffolow or something that rams them instead of eats them?

But down to theme ideas. Current themes seem to be a wood/ low tech, and then high tech/iron. And these work as contrasts making it hard to add a 3rd race or theme.

So what about looking at more of a scenario idea. Here's one idea:

-race that id dying out and needs to build robots in order just to function. they are feeble or small and are therefor unable to chop the thicker trunks of trees, transport more than 1 log, lift metal, ect. In order to get to that point you have to build a small robot and then work up to a larger robot that can build all the end game buildings.

idk. its a thought.
