Spatial Sound Repairs and Enhancements
Spatial SFX (speaker sounds, firework launcher) have major problems:
< sound is completely silent way too early when camera/viewpoint is not that far away
< spatial audio still sounds too 'immediate' and not like it's in a large open space.
- find a suitable reverb to create the feel of big sound in large open space (outdoors).
- double or triple the sound range for specifically Speakers and Firework Launchers and maybe other sources if allocation allows.
- map the camera/viewpoint distance to the reverb controls, such that as camera/view gets further away, the user hears less of the primary 'dry' sound and more of the reverb or 'wet' sound.
-make sure and fix firework 'shooting' whistle sound so that fireworks are not dead silent. Or if you don't want every firework to have a whistle noise, at least there should be the launcher ignition explosion sound every time.
