I have about 1000 beavers and my game is crashing every 10 minutes.
Its reasonable the game runs slower the more beavers i accumulate, but this is something else.
My frames drop down to 1 or 2 fps, and i can barely save before i exit.
My computer is newly built and up to par with the requirements, but i am running linux fedora so that might be an issue.
Please do specify any desired files and such and i will happily supply them - its a great game!
Only sad that my only fix currently is to brutally sacrifice 500 beavers, but ah well its for the common good.

Gin Fuyou AdminPlease provide your crash logs first of all, instructions are in the pinned topic. We also might need to know details how and when it happens.
Game is not officially supported on Linux but should work well on recent proton versions we don't know of common issues aside of SMT issue which is kind of random and sounds different from your issue. Try using different proton versions, we recommend 10 and above. -

CasperI found this pinned topic:
https://timberborn.featureupvote.com/suggestions/183503/how-to-send-us-logs-and-save-files-and-why-you-should-do-that
Looking at the pinned topic i sadly cannot find any log for my latest attempt today - I can only find crashes from 11 days ago. However, I still attached the latest log.
The problem has now devolved to me not even being able to open my save file without RAM running out and steam warning me that a process from Timberborn is leaking memory like crazy. This I believe doesn´t produce a crash log sadly, or i cannot find it as a crash atleast. -

Gin Fuyou AdminHave you checked both locations? There is some error data in this log, but in last line you can see where the rest should have gone:
* C:/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/Temp/Mechanistry/Timberborn/Crashes
In case of proton, C: will be `drive_c/` in your proton prefix (see timberborn.featureupvote.com/suggestions/703272/known-issues-running-and-troubleshooting-on-linux-with-wine-or-proton)
There is no known major memory leaks at the moment, try verifying file integrity or switching branches too. -

CasperThank you for all the help, but I have looked for crash files and found none. I have also tried different versions of proton and my patience to solve this and the amount of hours i have for gaming in a day is sadly at an end.
