This would be great as well making it impossible for beavers to pass through construction plans. I've had to many beavers get stuck in an area because they couldn't escape through a building I had just built. Also side note, Adding some building with multiple doors. like the mega houses have a bottom and top floor door. both or one could be used (but they cant use it as a passageway to go up a floor) -

Peter KnutsenI'd like to see an at-a-glance visual difference both for Bulding construction progress, as well as for Trees growing. It seems as if there are only 3 graphics for each Tree type, tiny, almost grown and ready to harvest. I'd like to see a set of more gradual steps, where even the fast-growing Birches have like 5 different looks denoting age, Pines maybe 6 or 7, and Maples 8 or 9 or even 10.
Having a couple of intermediate graphic/look steps for Berry Bushes would be nice too. -

mrfooglesThis seems like a nice polish. Maybe something like a progress bar (like an hp bar) for buildings, though? There are a lot of buildings, and implementing this suggestion doesn't seem worth the work to me.

Jonas MergedI would love to see some different construction phases visible. Like at 25% some material lying around. At 50%, a part of the shell. 75% nearly done building (Maybe missing roof or something).
Even better would be for the first (25%) phase if the different materials which are needed are shown according to what is already brought and what not. Like for example, a stack of planks is already visible, but only very few gears (still missing some). -

marteoma MergedIt would be really helpful to see how much of a structure is built graphically. Most of the games of this type show a different asset depending on the percentage of progress and you can easily see if it is about to finish or just beginning. In this game you see always the same image until it is totally built, so if you want to know how much is built you have to click and see the percentage.

Joe MergedI think it would be nice to have a setup of a building that looks half built when it reaches a certain percent until it is completed. That would be a visual aid as well to know if the beavers have placed materials into the building instead of checking each building every time.

Orinoco MergedIt would be really nice if beavers had a distinct animation when constructing. Like if they could be seen working with a little hammer or something, with the accompanying sound.
It would be a small touch but I think it add to the atmosphere of the game. -

Tree gnawing animation pls :( MergedIn most (old) city builders you could visually see how far a building was into construction. First you'd see assembled building materials, then a few walls arising, etc. Implementing this would make construction look much better and give players an idea of how far along a construction is without having to click on it and look at the numbers. Now it's like I'm throwing logs into a black hole of soil and then poof! a building jumps into existence.

Bird MergedIt would be neat to be able to see buildings that are partially complete modelled in the overworld -- for example having a model for a half-built lodge when you exit the construction preview mode. It would improve immersion, and it would also help gameplay to see which structures have begun construction without having to check each one manually.
