Ability to group buildings (pause multiple buildings with single click)
Currently, each building must be micromanaged individually. If, for example, I have a battery of 6 water pumps along an unmanaged river, I will want to pause production on these structures during droughts. To do so currently I must select each building individually and pause them. It would be far more sensible for me to group these structures under either a hotkey (like various RTS games) or allow me to create "complexes" that can be collectively turned on or off.
This would be very useful for other purposes as well I'd imagine.

David C Bollingermy big use would be turning off my loggers when I max out my logs. In my massive colony, I actually need the couple dozen of them to keep up when I'm building something big, but even with over a dozen log piles, they fill up if I'm not building.

We won't need this function as soon as we get the possibility to set work priorities for types of buildings in general.
The list with building of every type you have and possibility to change their priority for employment.
Then, at some point, you will just open the list and change the priority for the appropriate buildings and the beavers will go to work in the buildings with higher priority. -

Bart MergedI would like to be able to add building to groups that I can toggle active as one. For example every draught I have to disable all the water pumpers and enable the science sheds, and afterwards the same rollback,
It is a hassle so I would like to group them.
I would even invest logs etc in something like a guild headquarters or whatever. We can have a shed and a "crew boss" beaver guy with a fancy hat go around (de-)activating buildings, and he'd take his time so the building's position can be optimized in the road network to add a bit of gameplay depth to it, -

onixtro Mergedwell that. is really annoying to be turning on and off buildings one by one, requires a lot of time that becomes boring as a repetitive action, also, it is complicated to remember all the buildings you want on or off each drought.

SoerenI was thinking the same. Make groups - and toggle by season or manually. Often you will miss clicking pause on a pump, or starting a pump in drought season.

Sami MergedIt would be nice if there was a way to turn off all of the same buildings in a district. Like having one button to turn off all of the water pumps in a district. This way you don't have to click every single one of them and turn them off individually. Or even set your inventory limits to all of the storage buildings in the district.

Grant MergedI would like to be able to group buildings together so that I could turn them all off/on at once. Something like in real time strategy games where you can have unit groups usually binding them with Ctrl + number (Ctrl + 1 = Create a new group with the 1 key).

meestaShin MergedHey guys, it would be great if we can set groups of things we build to sync on/off. For example, Irrigation Towers in a certain area. Also, maybe if there's an option to have them turn on/off when droughts come into play instead of having to click it ourselves every time. Thanks!

Jack MergedIt would be cool to be able to link buildings into groups that you could then manage from a management window. Example: I have 10 water pumps located in the same area pumping water from a certain reservoir. When the drought comes instead of clicking each one to pause the pumping, you could put them in a group and call it "Water Pumps Group 1" and then pause the entire group. This would be great for other resources as well. If I realize oh I'm done making paper for a while I can just click the group with the paper factories and pause all of them at once.

chext MergedWhen I say this I mean like having a key-bind where if you hold down ctrl and left-click on a priority it will trigger the priority for all buildings like that one. Instead of having to individually prioritize each and every one of them because it can get a little tedious at the times.
