mass pause - draggable tool
give the cursor icon on the UI bar a function. let it switch between regular and pause. the pause cursor can drag a grid and pause everything inside it. I have a very large platform in the middle of a large pond with lots of water extractors and pausing all 40 of them is a bit of a pain lol

Zach MergedLike the build priority mouse option (which is amazing) it would be good to be able to pause/unpause buildings that way. Also adding that for hauling priority, and storage that contains each item type.

SkinkHeavenWas thinking something similar. Maybe allow selecting multiple buildings at once - would also provide an opportunity to change building settings when all selected objects are of the same type. Double clicking selects all buildings of the same type.

LordRedStoneThis could be combined with the popular suggestion of "assign beaver to this job". Just have an icon next to yours that assigns beavers from other jobs to the selected one(s). This would be useful for emergency food and water production, or generally to get beavers to do the jobs you want without pausing all other buildings.

SeizanI think being able to select multiple buildings would be best. Like CTRL + click for windows files. Let players select mutliple buildings. Then give them some global actions that can be applied to any buildings like "pause" and "unpause". Or even delete.

Alcaztrul MergedRight now, whenever I go in or out of dry season, I have to manually pause/unpause all my water pumps, which I think is a bit tedious. I have a few suggestions:
1) A tool that allows for mass-pausing/unpausing buildings/constructions in an area, similar to the priority tool.
2) The ability to group buildings so that they could be paused/unpaused simultaneously.
3) A keyboard hotkey to pause/unpause the currently selected building. -

In the priority area, a pause button would be nice so that you can pause several buildings at once.
sometimes it is annoying that you have to pause and start each building individually!
maybe this pause button could not only paralyze construction sites but also pause active buildings ?! -

ArcMass pausing would be great for planning; put out everything on a dam, for example, and then pause it all until you're ready to go. To expand the idea a bit though, it would be great if you could just select multiple buildings at once to operate on all of them (*including* pausing). For example, if I've built a large storage bin and I want to empty out the three it's replacing, being able to select all of them and go "empty all of these" would go a lot quicker than doing them individually; or alternately, suppose there's a drought coming and I want all my farms to switch to prioritizing harvesting. Select farms, switch them all. Would be a nice QoL.

2)It is a real pain to have to click and pause/unpause a large number of buildings at a time (think sending a bunch of beavers into science for the dry season and then back to their normal jobs during the wet season). It would a amazing to be able to just drag a region and pause or unpause all the things in that region just the same as you can do for priorities

Suggestion add a Button like the Priority button so you can click on building with that button to unpause and pause the buildings you want to pause or unpause because it's such a tedious task to go in every single building when you had a death wave and don't have enough workers and the workers just keep being on a lumber mill while the more needed job is water collecting or woodcutting or Gathering berries??? What if you have 100s of buildings and it's layered that would defiantly be a Nightmare...

I feel like this would be useful for when you have a lot of breeding pods or water pumps and you need to pause them rather than clicking through them one by one. A small quality of life addition :D

It would also be pretty cool to be able to lock a beaver into a job. Assign a part time job during drought and have them come back to their original job during wet season. I've named a couple of my beavers according to their jobs and i thought it was cute, but then they all get mixed up after a cycle

....Would be so much better with a system Like Overlay and the same thing as the Priority Overlay just with different colors so you don't confuse those 2 and then it would also be better for those who can't see colors like green or something else I think you get it...

ChristianPlease, that would be a huge QOL improvement.
You could expand the priority-tool (add pause/unpause next to low/mid/high) or make a similar tool next to it that allows to pause structures via grid like the priority tool does. Building huge structures in advance, planning to build them step by step over time, is a huge pain in the tail, having to manually select and pause/unpause every single darn platform.
Another wish concerning pause:
Let us click on one job in the job list on the left and select "pause all x" - having to manually pause/unpause all water pumps is tedious.

Maybe have a part of the U/I that tells you which buildings are paused, click on it and it jumps to that specific building, or lets you un-pause it from that directly. Having to click each single building or structure to delete/pause can be a lot easier this way.
