FPS dropping right before dark
I created a map and now have 233 beavers working a great city. My FPS drops to 2 frames every beaver day about 2 or 3 hours before dark and persists until almost next day. My CPU and GPU are steady at 30 and 50%.
I want to build bigger but now this problem persists. No mods or cheats.

Zam!This is most likely because that's when all the beavers drop everything and head home. Game just calculates every path at the same time.

Gin FuyouFor a moment I thought you argument is that when beavers drop everything, they drop FPS too ^_^'

BambulikSomething simular happend to me to.
I droped the working houers to 10h left it there for a while, after i raised them back to 14 the fps drop to like 2-3fps after 10h and stays down until 14h after that it jumps back to 28-30fps. 40-45fps and night. 20-25fps when they all wake up. 400population giant city. -

Flow MergedHi i have the problem that the fps go down to around 10 when the switch between day and nighttime is and night/day the same.
I already tried switching the settings but even on low it´s the same if then just a little better then on high or ultra.
I think maybe it has to do with raytracing? but couldn´t try since there are no advanced graphic settings.
I have a rtx 2070 and an Ryzen 7 3700x -

Gin Fuyou Admin MergedThere is no ray tracing and probably has nothing to do with graphics at all.

MeMadMax MergedI do realize that computers have a finite amount of resources, but...
I have a 8 core 16 thread ryzen 7 proc with 32 gigs of ram.
The game doesn't seem to care that I have a GTX970 gpu, it doesnt put it under any load.
Anyways.
During the transition from day to night, the game lags super hardcore and fully loads 4 cores of my CPU(no higher than 20% on my GPU thou), and returns to normal.
This is with a fair amount of assets on the playfield and occurs even with graphics set to min.
It seems to start doing it when a certain amount of assets are built as well, like it hits a wall.
Its not a gradual get slower overtime, just starts doing it whenever a magic number is reached.
This is just informational, but it is a minor annoyance and it would be nice if it was fixed or some option to turn off whatever, so I dont have to bounce the game speed back n forth when night approaches.
This has also been happening for several months, and different windows versions.
Thanks, hav -
