Huge FPS Drop on Fast Forward - even with a fresh start colony
Clean Install. Ran fine for two weeks until a few days ago and now Fps drops to 1FPS with no background processes interfering on super fast forward. It was running like butter before and then one day I started it up and started playing like this. It's essentially unplayable. Even on level 1 fast forward, the frame rate is awful. This is with a fresh colony and brand new start
I took a video of it

NickThis happens only on Meander for me. All other maps seem to run just fine at 3x speed.

Jimbo JamboHappens to me on Thousand Islands. I suspect it's all the water physics, but maybe somebody more tech-savvy can identify where the processing bottleneck is.
I wonder if it would be possible to have water physics "pause" when an equilibrium is reached. Maybe they already do and that's not the problem, I dunno. -

DominionThis happens to me too. I noticed a number of things. One, it gets worse the greater the number of unbuilt entities that you have and two, if you modify the priority of any of these entities, it drops further. I think it might be related to that. I have a colony with ~500 beavers and no issue. I have a colony of ~80 beavers and a lot of unbuilt entities and my FPS on FF drops to 1.

KyleDominion you might have it. I have a public works project that is spanning the entire map with hundreds of unbuilt entities. My fps went from 200+ to 6

ProcrastinatorLooks like FPS drop is related to working hours, number of workers, buffs and/or production jobs. Try reducing the work hours to 5-8 for a couple of days and see if it works with you.
