[Decorations Roofs] - Modular, Flexible Sloped Roof Tiles
Don't: have preset sizes of roofs, ie. 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x3.
Instead: have modular 1x1 roof tiles that connect when placed next to each other, like fences and paths do.
You would need 2 roof tiles only: Pitched Roof and Wedge Roof.
Pitched Roof would be the current 1x1 roof tile reworked to connect, as shown in the picture. Wedge Roof would be modeled as a slice from the 2x2 roof, as shown in the picture, also made to connect when placed side by side.

memory.of.a.dream MergedFor roofs that are two tiles wide it would be nice to have one tile versions that are just half of the roof. This would help complete the roof selection allowing for more complex structure designs.

AaronAdding a plus one for "half roofs" because putting a full roof on the storage 2 building looks dumb. The slope of a roof is supposed to direct water off the building, not into a crevasse.

Xode_00Would also like to see a 3rd flat roof section so you can build taller, as well as a 2 tall by 1 wide slope and pitch to allow for different styled roofs.
Maybe also an option to paint the shingles different colors. -

NyanBinaryMiqote MergedI am quite liking the new 3x3 large warehouse on the experimental branch, but it creates a roofing problem -- there are no 3x3 roofs! If you're going to keep the 3x3 not-quite-cube warehouses, they would look much nicer with a compatible roof.

Vas MergedInstead of having various roof decorations of different sizes all of which do the same exact thing, why not improve roofing by having a 1x1 roof tile that is modular and automatically connects to the nearby roofing, to adjust its shape? Sorta like turning into a corner roof, or a T connected roof. Like paths auto adjust. If multiple roof tiles are used in a grid, increase the roof height to match whatever you max it to look like.
This would make roofing look much nicer when you try to cover an area with roofing and stuff, and don't want a bunch of bizarre looking gaps in it because you can't connect them sideways. -

JustquackersAdd a 1x3 like the 1x2. Most of the big buildings are 3 wide. placing a roof in front of the entrance currently requires a 1x1 + 1x2 to cover the width. The result looks like 'dee O dee O' as my drill sgt use to say. A single 1x3 would not look like the builders had and after thought.
