Edge scrolling on MacBook Pro (with notch)
Edge scrolling for top edge doesn't work as expected on my MacBook Pro (2021) with notch. The full screen mode adds a black bar up top (which the mouse could go). Edge scrolling only works when the mouse is right at the border between the game screen and the black bar. Should either (1) limit mouse movement in full screen mode, or (2) enable edge scrolling when the cursor goes beyond the top edge.

Me too. Worked fine on 2019 model but a new Mac with a notch has made it almost impossible to scroll up or sideways. On a positive note, down works very well. -

GötzSimilar, but worse for me (MacBook Pro 14" M1 2021 model, running in 2:1 HiDPI, macOS 12.3.1): Not only the upper border is affected with no scroll effect but also left and right. Timberborn has a black bar left and right, so the graphics aren’t full screen in full screen mode.

TuingsCan get 3 of the sides to work on my 14" M1 MacBook. just not the top with the notch. Dropping the res down to 3024x1890 maxed out the other 3 sides

Pinco PallinoThe game is totally unplayable! Unfortunately I can't ask for a refund, I would otherwise. I they can release a port like this? What a shame!

QodvuxWhen first launching, it was the same issue for me as for Götz and others: black bars left and right in addition to the M4 MacBook Pro's "natural" fullscreen black bar at the top, so only bottom edge scrolling would work normally and top, left and right would only work at the single pixel at the edge to the black bars. So unusable.
Weirdly, when I played around with lower resolutions, nothing changed at first... until I selected the initial (highest) resolution again, which suddenly expanded the game left and right to be properly full screen. So only top scrolling dysfunctional now. But still unusuable because you need all scrolling directions. ;-)
Sad to see this hasn't been fixed in three years. I hate keyboard scrolling, so I can only play properly with an external display, not with the laptop as is. -

PigeonOfDarknessStill happening in 2026 on Macbook Pro M4. Used all the settings available in the game to adjust and the best I got was that the edge scrolling works on 3 edges - top edge does not work. Please, please fix this.
