Storing food and water at home
When a district gets large, it can be difficult to keep the places that food and water are stored close to the places that beavers are working. Perhaps things could be simplified by letting them store a small amount of food and water at home? This would allow them to start each day 'refreshed' as well.
The beavers could either store this food on their own in their free time, or there could be a delivery job just for this purpose.

lohithbbPlease no. At the moment we can distribute the placement of water tanks so that a beaver will go to the nearest available on to assuage its thirst. If you make food and water resources stockpiled at home, they will route there at the most inopportune time, instead of computing what the shortest path is to satisfy themselves. This was an endemic problem with Banished.
Rather than using a threshold where the beavers looks to satisfy itself, would it be possible to take features from the request above so that they will satisy their needs at specific intervals in the day?
e.g.
Food - Breakfast (morning), Lunch (afternoon), Dinner (evening), Supper (if you're making them burn the midnight candle)
Social - You sort of do this already - beavers chill at the end of day (but badgers chill whenever the fudge they want) -

DogmairofThink a possibility is a kind of market place, central location to 'haul' 'store' food and drink. maybe a pub/lodge with a worker to collect from far away water tanks and warehouses, to make available in the given location. as long as beavers do path to the closest location for needs.
