MacOS scrolling is slow

Menu scrolling and scrolling in general is very very slow. I'm using a Macbook Air (M1, 2020) and Apple Magic Mouse 2.

P.S. - I love the game.

Once I reach 200+ beavers, I'm getting a lot of slow game mechanics. Scrolling, selecting and action commands are very delayed. It's frustrating because the game is so good and that's the point when you've invested a fair amount in.

M1 MacBook Pro here - zooming in and out is *painfully* slow.
