Tree Tending/Fertilizing
A way to boost log ouput from trees. Beavers, possibly foresters, would 'tend' to trees, by using fertilizer/fungi or water. This could also be a use for the irrigation tower. It would help give irrigation towers a purpose, and make IT engines more practical

Zam! AdminI like it! Symbiotic fungi that bind beneficially with trees actually exist IRL and it would be great to add it to the game as well!
Making it an extra function of irrigation tower could be a balancing feature of Iron Teeth to provide an equivalent of Folktails beehives. One faction would grow food better and the other could grow trees better for an example (or just one could simply have an extra tool for it in the form of irrigation). -

lohithbbI've been mulling over the idea of sewage mechanics (from city building genre). It's part of life (no shit!).
I mean water supply and sewage drainage is a big part of any city building game but Timberborn doesn't really deal with the ... dirty part of it.
Thematically that's great but if there was a way to deal with it I guess having a manure pit of fertiliser factory is a good idea.

Zam! AdminSewage water certainly fits the "water management" theme of the game. Adding some depth and getting fertilizer out of it would be great as well.

Lotus MergedI doubt this is a new idea but i was thinking of a tech that could make sense to improve the efficiency of log production in an interesting manner. just letting bee hives affect trees would be boring & obv doesnt help Ironteeth, but functionally thats basically what I want; an efficiency improvement on logs, as there is currently nothing at all.
so what about Fertilizer? i like this because it would also consume dirt exact recipe could be debated but consuming dirt would be an important one since right now there is basically no use for it if your not actively doing terraforming. production & use could either be 1 new shared building or 2 different buildings, but id imagine fertilizer production would be a heavy industry thing so probably 2 separate buildings. could use the Forester to apply Fertilizer if we dont want a new building for application
