Make infinite metal toggleable
I liked the challenge (and commentary) of metal being a finite resource. It would be nice if it were something you could turn on and off during new game creation, on the starting population and drought length panel. Most of the maps already have no-mine versions.

Zam! AdminI can imagine that being a difficulty setting where if you click and select it, every mine is replaced by a pile of finite ruins on the same footprint that have pre-set amount of metal in them. I think that's doable - hopefully devs see it the same way :)

Gin Fuyou Adminmining site can be just toggled to be exhaustible, making mines overly expensive, but it's compensated by raised value of limited resource.
