District request/provide instead of routes
It doesn't look like this is already posted, if it is, please link to other post.
Suggestion: District drop-off points should automatically request what resources they are lacking from other districts, with the closer districts having higher priority. Distribution posts automatically offer up surplus resources for other districts to request from. No need for manually assigned routes
instead of manually assigning 1-way routes from district to district and inevitably forgetting something, or worse, daisy-chaining food/water requests and starving the last district in the chain, have "routes" assigned dynamically as described above. Ideally on a shipment-by-shipment basis. This removes the labour of having to tune import/export limits for every district when new districts are added or district consumption changes/

MoonLiteNiteThe idea is great, but the method that is currently used is a major way to keep this game staying a higher FPS for longer periods. If every district has to check every district, for every request/have would be really slow. And defeats the real reason districts are in the game, as way to keep FPS going strong :)

DonHaving higher FPS for late game colonies with many districts is nice. But I stopped two games in a row, because the route management is so tedious. Some kind of simplification of setup and some increase in throughput (maybe carts) is really needed.
