Rubble piles
They're everywhere and take too long to clear up! I end up deleting all of them one by one.

Bug: Rubble takes too long to clean up
Category: path finding
Issue:
Builders take rubble to nearest available storage from district center
Solution:
Builders take rubble to nearest available storage from rubble
Workaround:
* Build a lot of storage equally spaced from the district center, way too much effort IMO
* Move district center to construction site and not forget to setup your import/export rules again after
In this image my builder takes 3 logs to the other side of the district instead of the pile nearby with room for 6 logs -

jurovI suggest to enable idle lumberjacks to pull logs out of rubble and place them into lumberjack flags. Usually logs are the largest part of it. It will also help to resolve mistake when you have no logs to build storage and can't use rubble to get logs because no storage.
Farmers and gatherers could perhaps clear rubble too to get their resources, but clearing up logs is the most critical issue. -

EboaUnrealUncivilEngineer's solution would be my first choice for improving the utilisation of building rubble.
An alternate suggestion would be to give haulers the ability to clear rubble piles, as their lowest priority. IF things are going to be carried across the district, at least have the beavers best suited for the job doing so.
Or maybe the ability to designate rubble as a resource structure permanently set to Empty (can't put anything in, can only take out), maybe locked behind Science? I frequently rebuild in areas with rubble; being able to rebuild with the resources already onsite would be the epitome of efficiency.
