More options for map making - bridges and abandonded warehouses or resource stashes
I think it would be nice to add like bridges and warehouses that are made by hoomans. For example you could place down warehouses and give the resources so if somone wanted to make a map were you need to scavenge resource you could, there could be platforms that beavers can use so you could add a staircase to a steep cliff or just a bridge for rivers.

Caches are small storages tucked away in remote places, left behind by humans. They could contain just a handful of mid-to-late resources, like metal, treated planks or a few sticks of dynamite. Perhaps only 10~30 of each. Some could even contain a free technology (or an equivalent amount of science if you already unlocked it), and maybe just enough resources to build one. They may be locked up, and require "breaking open" by a builder, which can take a considerable amount of time. They could have preset contents on specific maps, or be randomized with a custom setting.
I think something like this could give more incentive to reach out to far away locations on the map, in the same way you would try to reach scrap metal, a mine or a place to dam off. It can also spice up a new playthrough. By investing in infrastructure to reach a cache, you may be able to build a single Food Factory or perhaps a Bulletin Pole before you've set up your metal production pipeline. -

TTJMore object and decorations in the map editor would be great! Maybe also some rocks (destroyable with explosives) or plants/flowers. Some relics (buildings/monuments/shrines) that could be scavanged for wood or iron.

PufferfishJust a little more idea for the idea: you could maybe make the bridges have a settable amount of beavers that can use them at a time so you can Make them seem more ruined
